Art C in July-August 2024 Issue of Seaside Retailer Magazine

Two of Art C's Coastal Collection candles and owner Christina Emde were recently featured in the July-August 2024 issue of Seaside Retailer Magazine, a magazine distributed to over 12,000 businesses that "provides resources and insightful information to beach, coastal and nautical retailers to help them navigate purchasing decisions and manage their business."

In a featured section called "Scents of the Sea" (page 46) and an article called "Bottling Up the Beach" (page 51), Christina shared how Art C incorporates sustainable elements into its coastal candle offerings, including the Chesapeake Breeze candle, which depicts a blue crab, and the Shoreline Glow candle, which shows a seagull on the beach.

"The trends that I'm seeing with seaside retailers in 2024 when it comes to candles is that quality and sustainability are of the highest importance," she shared. "Our vessels are reusable after the candle has burned and can be repurposed, which is a testament to our sustainable business model."
